Stepping Stones is an early intervention preschool program developed to provide therapeutic education for children ages three through six with early speech and/or language delays.
Our program incorporates a unique collaborative approach designed to maximize each child's growth and development during the crucial early learning intervention years. Stepping Stones meets the therapeutic and educational needs of students with specific weaknesses in development of communication skills. Students within the program may also have mild secondary weaknesses in fine motor or sensory processing development. In addition to incorporating an age-appropriate, research-based, pre-academic curriculum, each student within the program also receives therapeutic instruction specific to his/her needs in the following areas:
- Language development
- Speech articulation
- Fine motor development
- Sensory processing
The Stepping Stones program also offers additional services, including the following:
- Consultation with specialists
- Parent volunteer opportunities
