The faculty of the Hamm Center includes a coordinator, a curriculum specialist, a literacy specialist, a mainstream support specialist, ten teachers and four assistant teachers. Teachers and therapists have earned master's degrees in deaf education or speech-language pathology. They hold current teaching certificates in deaf education and many are also Listening and Spoken Language Certified Auditory Verbal Educators (LSLS Cert AVEd®). Two Certified Auditory Verbal Therapists (LSLS Cert AVT®) and two Speech Language Pathologists hold certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and a Georgia License in Speech-Language Pathology. The four assistant teachers hold bachelor's degrees. The Atlanta Speech School requires continuing education.
