Movers & Shakers Camp
sensory motor fun for children ages 5 to 7
Movers & Shakers is a small-group, sensory motor class for children ages 5 to 7. Camp sessions incorporate movement activities to develop coordination and strength. Manipulative fine-motor tasks and visual-motor games are used to develop foundational skills for handwriting. Handwriting readiness and printing, using the "Handwriting Without Tears" Program, will be incorporated in multi-sensory group activities to reinforce correct letter formation, accuracy, and skill. Students may attend one or both sessions. All classes are taught by a licensed occupational therapist.
Class Dates for 2008
- 1st Session: June 9 - June 26, 2008
- 2nd Session: June 30 - July 17, 2008
- Hours: Monday - Thursday, 1:30 - 2:30
- Cost: $640 per session, $1240 both sessions
- Financial aid is available for qualifying students
