Study Skills - Tools for Life
for rising 4th, 5th, and 6th graders

Study Skills Camp for rising 4th, 5th and 6th graders provides the most current approaches and tools to improve a student's study habits in a fun camp-like atmosphere.

The Camp provides strategies to help students organize their work and their thinking. Strategies in note-taking, previewing content area, visualization techniques, memorization techniques, preparing for exams, and how to answer essay questions are introduced and reviewed during this three-week program. Students also evaluate their learning style to determine their particular strengths and how to best use them. Students utilize laptop computers daily for keyboarding and refining their work for projects. Camper/staff ratoio is 8:1.

Camp Dates for 2008
  • Dates: July 7 - July 18, 2008
  • Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $690
  • Financial aid is available for qualifying students.
