Whale of a Tale Camp
for rising 4th and 5th graders

Whale of a Tale is a small group writing camp for students entering 4th and 5th grade. The camp focus is on written expression skills. Targeted skills include sentence structure, paragraph development, direction writing, report writing and creative writing. Skill areas are addressed through a variety of projects and fun activities. The camp culminates
with a final report and oral presentation. Campers utilize laptops for
some project work as well as work on keyboarding skills.
Camper/staff ratio is 6:1.

Camp Dates for 2008 Whale of a Tale Camp
  • Dates: June 9 - June 20, 2008
  • Hours: Monday through Friday
    9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $690
  • Financial aid is available for qualifying students.
