Children learn language most rapidly in the beginning years of their life. For preschool-age children with speech and/or language delays, early intervention is imperative. The only program of its kind in Georgia, Stepping Stones addresses those delays by integrating both therapy and education throughout its curriculum to maximize each child’s growth and development.
Stepping Stones infuses language development and remediation into every aspect of its program. A teaching team made up of a Speech-Language Pathologist, an Occupational Therapist, an Education Specialist, and an Assistant Teacher uses a unique collaborative approach to target the specific needs of each child. Children blossom developmentally and socially as any weaknesses in language development, speech articulation, fine motor development or sensory processing are addressed.
Stepping Stones puts children on a trajectory to enter school ready to flourish as active and engaged learners.
