Join us to welcome speaker Dr. Tracy Weeden, as she reinforces the Atlanta Speech School’s vision of literacy and justice for ALL. Dr. Weeden believes, as we do, that literacy is THE human rights issue of the 21st century. She holds that we can eradicate the systemic dysfunction that has led us to unconscionable illiteracy rates by taking collective action - if we, as a society, have the will for the work. Literacy is a moral imperative in this knowledge economy, and we have a duty to ensure every child is equipped to impact the world and others for a lifetime.
