Our Curriculum

Classrooms of the Hamm Center join children who are deaf or hard of hearing with children who have typical hearing, in a rich environment of listening and spoken language.  Developing relationships, learning to communicate, and practicing conversational partnership are integrated into all aspects of each child's school day.

In addition to academics, all of our children participate in enrichment activities that include music, PE/occupational therapy, physical education, art, and media.  Classroom teachers collaborate with enrichment teachers to integrate and bolster language development.
