The Atlanta Speech School's wide variety of engaging summer programs are offered throughout the season for children as young as 2 years old. Camps, classes, remediation and therapy, and activities, all in a language-rich environment,  are available for children in the community as well as for those already in the Speech School Family for a range of ages, grades and ability levels.

Summer Explorations: Explore new destinations each week at the Anne & Jim Kenan Preschool camp for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years

Wiggles and Giggles: Music, nature, art, cooking and more for children ages 3 and 4 who are experiencing speech and/or language delays

Bright Beginnings: Multi-sensory experiences and instruction to build foundations for academic success.  A camp for rising Kindergarten students who have dyslexia or at risk for language-based learning disabilities

Camp Chatterbox: Language-rich experiences and instruction for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.

Smart Start: Multi-sensory experiences and instruction to build foundations for academic success.  A camp for rising Kindergarten students with speech and language delays.

Movers and Shakers: A camp for handwriting readiness and printing using the Handwriting Without Tears program for children aged 5-7

Summer Excursions: A small-group learning camp for rising 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders with dyslexia

Writing Adventures: Students learn a systematic and organized approach to writing through a variety of fun activities, for rising 2nd and 3rd graders

Comprehension Capers and Think Tank: With an emphasis on mysteries, combining critical thinking skills, learning and fun, this NEW camp offering is for rising 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

After Camp Enrichment 2023

The Atlanta Speech School Summer Session offers After Camp Enrichment for students enrolled in one or more of the Summer Camp Programs. Operating as an extension of the camp day, the program exists to develop the whole child through recreational activities. The program hours are 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Students enrolled in the program enjoy a variety of enrichment activities, spend time with friends, and play outdoors or in the gym. Please click on this link to see class descriptions.
