The 1938 Circle - Estate Planning for the Speech SchoolEstablished in March, 2003, The 1938 Circle honors donors who have provided for the Atlanta Speech School in their estate plans.
Planned gifts significantly strengthen the School's endowment fund, providing a fiscal cornerstone for the long-range plans of the School, its staff, financial aid program and service to future generations of children.
Qualifying gifts include bequests, life income gifts including charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts or designating the Atlanta Speech School as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or individual retirement account (IRA).
The 1938 Circle members receive invitations to special events and recognition in Atlanta Speech School publications. Members of The 1938 Circle are recognized each year in the Atlanta Speech School's Annual Report, as well as on a plaque at the School.
We invite you to join us as a member of The 1938 Circle. Please contact Ginny Hobbs, Leadership and Legacy Giving, at 404-233-5332, ext. 3036.
“I wanted to do more for those charities that have special meaning in my life. So, 20 years ago, I added the Speech School to my estate plans and became a member of The 1938 Circle. It is comforting to know that I can continue to touch the places in my hometown that were important to me during my lifetime.”
