The Power of Language Changes Lives

Presented at the 2026 Atlanta Speech School Gala, the mission video (below) celebrates the life-changing impact of your support on children, families, and educators.

51st Annual Language & Literacy Gala

Held Sunday, March 22, 2026

All monies raised at the Gala directly support the school’s need-based financial aid program. No child in need of the school’s specialized services has ever been turned away due to financial circumstances, and the Gala helps ensure that legacy continues.

The event features live and silent auctions showcasing donated items such as vacation packages, sports tickets, travel, experiences, and more. Contributions of in-kind items are tax deductible. It provides exposure to hundreds of Atlantans who share a commitment to our mission of improving language and literacy in Georgia.

The Atlanta Speech School provides life-changing, comprehensive literacy services to children with dyslexia, speech or language delays, hearing deficits, and other speech and auditory developmental issues.  The Speech School accomplishes this through research-based practices, innovations, advocacy, and partnerships with other organizations so that each child at the Atlanta Speech School, and every child beyond the campus – whether hearing or language impaired or not – can acquire the language and literacy foundation essential for deciding their own future.
